Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club participates in all official equestrian disciplines in the United Arab Emirates.
First official Race in UAE was at Sharjah Equestrian Racing and Riding Club 1983 and since that date hosts approximately six official races per season.
SERC Represented the United Arab Emirates at the 1986 World Arabian Horses Organization “WAHO” conference held in Morocco. The UAE was then accepted as a member of that conference.
Many of the qualified show jumping competitors in the UAE began their careers at the Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club. The club has generously sponsored a number of youths and provided them with first class trainers and horses in addition to organizing many competitions. The Club’s Riders are central to the success of the Emirates National Show Jumping Team which has achieved remarkable results at national and international levels.
