The QUARANTINE at Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club

A world class isolation facility is located within the club premises. The quarantine is approximately 10 minutes away from the Sharjah International Airport.
The facility meets the international standards of isolation and is approved by the UAE Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
The quarantine stables can be used for:
• Pre-export isolation
• Post-import isolation
• Transit isolation
• Isolation of international visiting horses during the various events (show jumping, beauty shows, races, etc.)

There are a total of 60 stables available divided over 5 different barns. Each barn is provided with accommodation for grooms, an office, a store and a separate wash area and paddocks. On site accommodation for trainers and owners is possible. A common walker is available on the quarantine premises for horses during isolation.
Special arrangements can be made for riding and / or training quarantine horses during specific timings in the SERC indoor arena.
A UAE licensed veterinary doctor is available in case of emergencies.
For more specialized veterinary care, the Sharjah Equine Hospital (www.seh.ae) can be contacted. The hospital is located adjacent to the SERC.
